Grundfos up10-16 pm - tapping every 20 minutes?
« Dato: Jun 27, 2016, 21:05 »
Hi all,

We recently had a grundfos up10-16 pm installed, and we have it set to the auto adapt option.  The manual says it should take 2 weeks until it can register the tapping algorithm.  However It has been 4-5 weeks now, and I have a feeling it is tapping every 20 minutes regardless the usage patterns.  However during the night it is clearly not tapping.

The graph drop in water temperature seems to be consistently dropping every 20 minutes as the pump sends more hot water through the system.  It would be my belief that this should not happen, since we are surely not using hot water every 20 minutes :p

Could anyone observe the graph and advise on possible causes?

On another note, is 6-8 kg pills a lot to warm water each day?  I add this up to 15kr/day.  I believe this is still cheaper than using EL.

Thanks

James

It does not seem that it always runs every 20 minutes.

But generally, your hot water tank drops very fast, about 5° every hour, my Metro 160l drops only about 1° every hour. Try to take the power from the pump and wait 3 hours before Switching the power on again.

What about the main cirkulation pump! is it controlled by the controller? or is it just connectet to a power outlet?

We also have a 160l metro, and it dropped around 1° every hour - until we got the circulation pump installed.  This is why I believed it to be tapping every 20 minutes, as there is a clear drop in temperature.  The circulation pump is powered directly from the wall.
